Vision Statement
Carnival is an abstract video about life on the beach and at the carnival and who I am. It includes scenes of a metal cutter, my dog, the beach and the carnival held twice a year in my neighborhood. The sound composition is of music that I love or that speaks to me in some way.                                

Creative Concept
The creative concept behind this piece was to create an abstract viewable video that could stand on it's own as a finished piece. I chose imagery and audio that represents my life in the suburbs of Long Island. The metal cutter was chosen to represent someone I am close to. The dog represents loyalty, the carnival represents chaos and change. The beach represents the moments of serenity broken by thoughts of the past. The audio of the carnival represent turmoil and change, trumpets are reminiscing about the past. It is a moment in time.
